We call our teaching “Religious Science” or “Science of Mind” because it works for everyone the same way, in every area of life: relationships, physical health, and day to day life. But what about our money? How is our relationship with our checkbook, and what do we really believe about it? In honor of Income Tax Day, Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer will be our guest speaker on Sunday, April 14, sharing ideas on the topic, “In Search of Happy Money.”
Healing Our Relationship with Money
How we got here * Where we are now * How we can move forward
If a movie was made about your relationship with money, what would be the title?
- “Gone with the Wind”
- “The Agony and the Ecstasy”
- “To Have and Have Not”
- “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, ” or
- “It’s a Wonderful LifeMost of us learned our “truth” about money from parents, grandparents and others. If they lived through the Depression, or other traumatic experiences, we might have been taught ideas of fear, lack and struggle, rather than abundance and possibility.Quoting Ernest Holmes, as we “change our thinking,” we can “change our lives,” but we must be willing to think about what we think about!
In honor of Income Tax Day (April 15), join Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer for a heart and eye-opening workshop, inviting us to consider what we believe about money (and taxes) and decide what is still true for us and what is not.
Rev. Dr. Jerry will be guest speaker at Emerging Spirits, and then conduct the workshop, on Sunday, April 14 after the service.
